4665 Heat Detector

The wire-free Heat Detector with integral transmitter senses rapid rises in temperature. Upon activation the unit will signal to any FM2000 Mobile Alarm and FM4000 Intruder Alarm/Wireless Interface, providing an audible indication on the Heat Detector itself and at the Control Unit. Designed to comply with the requirements of PD6662:2004 Grade 2.

• Ideal for use in dusty or high humidity environments
• Contains a radio transmitter with 100 metre radio range
• Operates with any FM2000 and FM4000 Series control panel
• Detector is powered by a single quality alkaline PP3 battery
• Designed to fail safe, if detector battery is removed, panel sounds alarm
• Transmitter is powered by two quality alkaline AA cell batteries
• Battery life of the device is in excess of 12 months
• The condition of transmitter batteries is monitored by the control panel
• Unit is supervised, the control panel knows if the device is missing.
