4660 Smoke detector

The wire-free Smoke Detector identifies the presence of smoke using optical sensing. Upon activation the unit will signal to any FM2000 Mobile Alarm or FM4000 Intruder Alarm/Wireless Interface, providing an audible indication on the Smoke Detector itself and at the Control Unit. Designed to comply with the requirements of PD6662:2004 Grade 2

((For your information:-Optical detectors cause fewer false alarms than cheaper ionization smoke detectors which will often activate with the just a tiny amount of smoke or dust (i.e. you just slightly overcook the toast.)))
